I dont disagree that there is a link between myocarditis symptoms and the covid vaccine, especially in young males, but catching covid can also cause myocarditis, which complicates the findings.

114,000, Literal, or Symbolic?
by Wonderment ina poster wrote to me privately, and brought to my attention the following comment below i made a while back in regards to the 144,00 number of revelation.
i had casually conjectured that this number was likely symbolic in line with the book of revelation being mostly symbolic in kind.
he brought up this juicy source:.

Consistency is not a strong point of the wt, unless we are talking about their consistent prophecy failures.
Consider how they determine the 2520 years of the gentiles and arrive at 1914.
For the first part of the equation,to get 2520, they use 360 day years. They then magically apply that change to 365 day years for the time frame 607 to 1914.
It's like multiplying 2 lbs of potatoes by 3 kgs of potatoes and claiming you now have 6 pounds of potatoes.
Conversion is a thing in maths but the wt is hoping no one notices.

Memory and memorization
by Terry in3.1415926535807932384626433i used to be able to go to a hundred from memory.
my son and daughter can do so.age 75 has cheated me a bit in this regard.what sort of things have you memorized (whether useful or useless)?i can recite the entire rime of the ancient mariner to this day, btw.there are many so-called tricks for remembering things that can be easily learned and i've read all or most of those books.the amusing thing about such memory is this: nobody cares!
"why do you need to memorize when you can just use your iphone?sigh...i memorized the periodic table of elements one day at work.

Free Will - Does It or Does It Not Exist?
by truth_b_known inbeing born-in and raised as one of jehovah's witnesses i remember a common theme or phrases used by the watchtower in its theory of why things are the way they are -.
jehovah created humans.
jehovah created humans as free moral agents.

As humans, our main drivers are food, sleep and procreation. We spend a lot of our energy around these 3 things.
Then we have our pre-set expectations, belief systems and attitudes we inherit from our parents to contend with.
That doesn't leave much room for free will.

which Translation Now?
by enoughisenough infor those of you who still respect the bible, which translation/s are you using now?
why?.
-
joey jojo
The reason I ask is because I find it interesting that anyone coming from a JW background and has presumably researched the history/ authenticity of the bible, still wants to study it for personal growth, or find meaning in its content.
I know there are some beautiful words and thoughts in it but there are also a lot of disturbing ones.

Apart from reading the bible for research, or other academic purposes, do you guys believe the bible is the inspired word of God?

Here’s just one with less than half a Google search
I'm sorry Anony Mous. Where did it say that synthetic mRNA persists indefinitely once injected?
(i.e. That it is not just as fragile as any other polymeric nucleotide)@TD,
Expect links from these guys to be out of context, or have nothing to do with the so called 'facts' they are trying to sell. They count on us not reading them.

Patient: I think I'm a chicken.
Psychiatrist: How long has this been going on?
Patient: Ever since I came out of my shell.
Sry- couldnt resist a stupid chicken joke.
One thing Ive learned along the way is that not enough people question their parents beliefs/ attitudes etc. Just because our parents believe something doesnt make it true.
This need for parental apporval sticks with most people their whole lives. Even after their parents are gone, people will still imagine how their parent will react to whatever it is they are doing. Its kind of nice, but it also keeps people trapped in idealogies, rascism, religions, football teams....
